A picture is worth a thousand words. Here's eight.

You can see Mono-mode focus peaking in yellow, the RAW-based highlight clipping warning and a typical focus bracketing setup for product photography on this screen. Ratings and a green color label is utilized in the Image Browser. The upper of the Dual Histogram display (a world's first) is based on RAW image data.
On this screen live view is running, with the Auto Focus tool active. The Point of Operation square is green, indicating that AF has successfully completed at the clicked point. The histogram is sRGB only, as the camera can only provide that during live view.
Besides the built-in templates, you can set up custom guidelines. Just click and drag from the rulers, or use the menu to add new lines. Guide color and opacity can be changed to suit the image you are currently working on. The Browser is hidden on this screen.
Variable-step shutter speed bracketing in action. Note that frames 2-4 are disabled on the Bracketing Monitor (series of green lights on the Sidebar), and not captured. Each frame can be automatically tagged with a color label of your choice. Exposure sequences can be stopped any time.
Multi-Point Live View is another unique feature you won't find anywhere else. It shows a simultaneous magnified live view (with reduced frame rate) of two or three selected points, called markers. The markers currently in use can be seen as red/green/blue dots on the Navigator. An unmatched focusing aid for users of tilt/shift lenses and technical cameras.
Image Overlay is a helpful tool if you have to shoot into a pre-designed layout, like a magazine. Also works in magnified live view making precise alignment a breeze. Hold down Shift to resize and Control to rotate the overlaid image while the Reposition tool is active. Or just use gestures on your trackpad.
The Toolbar, Sidebar, Browser, Rulers and Info Overlay can be hidden to leave more screen real estate for the image. Great for culling or presenting images to a customer. And visibility settings for screen elements are remembered separately for full screen mode.
All the focusing and exposure tools can be used during movie recording — it's live view after all. Focus peaking and clipping warnings are active on this screen. The aspect-relative guides indicate a 4:3 crop. Movies are recorded to the camera's card. The Record/Stop button turns red during recording to function as a tally lamp. Audio level indicator occupies the RAW histogram area.
